What have we done?
  • Nail down the competition rules
  • (including almost every possible scenarios
    in the competition)
  • Build and modify the Robot
  • (we have done three versions robots so far,
    believe me ,we got a very aggressive and
    effective robot )
  • Down load and study the use of NXTsharp
  • (a little bit tricky to modify this
    software, but finally I make it)
  • Test computer controlling of robot
  • (we have already tested our robot for a
    couple of times. Still modifying)
  • o design a well-organized website to
    introduce the whole project
  • (already finished the schema and mainpage
    design)

What we need to do?
  • Rebuild the Robot
  • (improve the design of our robot version 3)
  • Practice controlling Robot by Computer
  • (focus on some special scenarios, try our best
    to control the robot as smart as possible)

Map explorer
  • Purpose
  • --build a robot which has good AI and practical
    mechanic design
  • --control the robot in a black room and
    draw the map of that room automatically through
    sensor (2D)
  • --Show the map on a remote computer screen(
    the software interface)

  • --build a stable moving part for the
    robot
  • --try to setup a sensor which can fully
    and consistently rotate(360degree) on the robot
    very important for the whole map explorer design)
  • --try to solve the cable-binding
    problem between sensor and brick
  • --test the whole mechanic design
    whether it is very reasonable
