Operational Growth
Total combined membership of organizations
that merged was 16,205 on January 1, 1998. Note
Youth (under 15) high school players comprise
about 80 of total membership.

Note that this is participation by players. In
addition, There are approximately 15,000 adult
members who are coaches, and 7,000 adult
members who are officials. Most of those
coaches and officials are focused to the youth/HS
level. I dont have figures on coach/official
participation outside of US Lacrosse estimate
half the coaches but nearly all officials are USL
members.
