3The Georgia OAS login page looks like this
4Sign in using your childs special login id and
password.
- Students should have their login information and
password on a label in the front of their agenda. - The login id is a 10-digit number
- A students password is his or her lunch
- number
5After your child successfully logs in, he or
she should choose to View
Teacher- Assigned Tests.
6Notice there is also a link on this page for a
Student User Guide and a Parent User Guide. You
might want to print this information.
7Your child will select one of the tests that has
been assigned to him or her. Scroll down if
necessary to click the Take Test button.
8When the questions on one page are answered, your
child will click the Next Question button to
continue the test.
9After completing a test, your child will click
the Grade My Test button.
10Your child can immediately see the score he or
she made on that test.
11For scores below 100, students should scroll
down to review the test.
- An asterisk () will be next to the answer the
student selected. - A green check ( ) will be next to the correct
answer. - If the two marks are not by the same answer, look
back to understand why. - You can help your child review these practice
tests!
12When taking a math test, your child should
actually work the problems on paper before
choosing an answer.
- When taking a reading test, encourage your child
to look back in the story if he or she is not
sure about an answer.
- Tests may be retaken to improve scores.
13When your child is finished reviewing his or her
test results, he or she will click the Return
Home button.
14Your child can either take another test by
clicking View Teacher Assigned Tests, OR he or
she can Log Out.
15 Remember . .
- The practice tests can be taken over and over.
- Contact your childs teacher about questions you
and your child do not understand. - Just taking tests is not the goal. Your child
needs to understand the kinds of questions and be
familiar with the vocabulary used on these tests. - Work with your child to help him or her get the
most out of this practice.
16And, finally . . .
- Help your child understand that SUCCESS
is our only option!
