- The AAA Publishing Department provides a number
of venues in which anthropologists can publish
their research. This activity is critical
for establishing expertise and building a
reputation as a scholar, credentialing academic
members, information exchange and dialogue, and
visibility within the discipline. Apart from a
venue for publication of their own work,
individual section-sponsored publications also
allow scholars to stay abreast of the latest
research in their subfield(s). - Our goal is to maximize access to our
publications, through online access
(AnthroSource), philanthropic programs,
and expanded circulation. We want to make
anthropological knowledge widely visible to our
members, and also ensure that the discipline is
visible in related fields and public policy
discussions. AnthroSource offers more than 100
years of anthropological scholarship, and is the
premier online portal serving the diverse needs
of anthropologists, including researchers,
educations, and practitioners. - Finally, our publications and auxiliary venues
(eNews, - AAA Blog) keep members informed of job and
fellowship announcements, conferences, and other
career-related opportunities.

Annual Meeting This is what attendees at
previous meeting say about their experience I
thought the last meeting was very productive.
The theme introduced new anthropologists and
new work. It was my first AAA meeting and I
found it valuable. The annual meeting
is an important conference for emerging
professionals. AAA is doing a great job
with the conference. One of my
favorite things to do each year. I love the
meetings. The opportunity to see friends,
and the presentations of all kinds. AAA is
a great opportunity to meet friends and profs
from all over the world. I really enjoyed
the meeting. Good job AAA. I love AAA
meetings. One of my favorite things to do each
year.
