team information. - Coordinate parents to bring (healthy) food and
drinks to the tournaments. - Assist the coach as needed.
- Coordinate with board members as necessary
regarding apparel orders, uniforms, and club
activities. - Keep accurate records of money raised by players,
such as shirt sales. Forward all monies to the
club treasurer. - Coordinate any and all fundraising efforts with
the parents and players. - Must have e-mail access and willing to utilize
it. - Travel Coordinator
- Research and obtain hotel reservations as close
as possible to the school where we play. Players
usually room with their parents so a block of
rooms are reserved for each player and coach. - Correspond with parents regarding hotel,
location, phone number, dates, directions,
reservation deadline, etc. Parents will be
responsible for actually reserving their own
room. - Provide directions from hotel to school gym to
each parent and coach. It is a good idea for the
travel coordinator to arrive early (on Friday
evening) and actually locate the gym,
particularly if it is in a strange town or
location. This will prevent a situation of 8
players, parents and coach leaving the hotel
early Saturday morning, having bad directions,
driving around lost trying to find the school,
and missing the 800 am coaches meeting. - Ball Keeper
- Keeper of the ball bag and all balls.
Locate balls after each warm up, store in the
bag, and keep until next warm up. Coaches will
take the balls at the end of the tournament so
