  • NO SINGLE FAMILY DICTATORSHIP HERE, EVERYONE
    WORKS TOGETHER. WE HAVE A VERY GOOD COMMITTEE
    AND EVERYONE WORKS TOGETHER AS FRIENDS
  • A SCOUT LEAD TROOP (LOGISITICALLY RUN BY ADULTS

Starting in January 2007, Troop is will offer a
unique outdoors skills training program. After 15
lessons, the scouts qualify to be "ELITE
OUTDOORSMEN" and are awarded a special uniform
patch and certificate. Upon completing the full
outdoor requirements, they will be awarded the
camping, hiking, backpacking, and wilderness
survival merit badges (all 4 of them!) along with
the Leave No Trace award. Scouts in Troop 2 will
really learn to be confident and comfortable in
the outdoors.
TROOP MAKEUP
  • 35 scouts, 11 Life or Stars preparing for
    Eagle.
  • 10 scouts with CLT Leadership scout
  • 92 scouts from Troop 2 have earned Eagle
  • Highest number from any troop in MA
  • Fully trained adult leaders.
  • Active supportive troop committee with
  • Generous parents willing to help.
  • Well funded, very good equipment.
