Editing Geodatabases

• GISEdit
• Contains data edited and maintained by CDD and
  IT.
• GISStreet
• Contains data edited and maintained by E911 and
  Road.
• GISTaxmap
• Contains data edited and maintained by Survey and
  Clerk.
• GISCarto
• Contains data edited and maintained by Assessor.

Viewing Geodatabases

• No data editing takes place in the viewing
  geodatabases. The permissions are set to read
  only.
• GISData
• Contains vector data and tables maintained by all
  departments.
• Data are updated nightly, weekly, and monthly
  using Python scripts to copy data from the
  various editing databases and other SQL
  databases.
• GISRaster
• Contains raster data.
• Data are updated on an as needed basis by IT, but
  the data are generally static.

Testing Geodatabase

• The testing geodatabase is used to test workflows
  without the risk of messing up the schema of a
  geodatabase with live data.
• GISTestArea
• The data contained in this geodatabase vary with
  what is being tested.
