Library Rules

• Same as the rest of the school
• No running
• Keep hands, feet, and other parts to yourself
• Talk with your inside voice

Table Time

• Hands in your lap
• Feet on the floor
• Keep all four chair legs on the floor
• Open your ears and be quiet
• Be ready to participate in the lessons

How to Take Care of a Book

• Wash your hands before reading
• No eating or drinking while reading
• Turn pages gently from the top
• Dont bend the spine backwards
• When youre finished, always put your book in
  your backpack.

Place Markers

• Always use a place marker when removing or
  replacing books on the shelf.
• Please do not tap the place marker on yourself,
  the table, or others
• Place markers are not to be used as toys.

Borrowing Books

• You may come individually to the library to check
  out books after your class has been to the media
  center two times.
• You may only keep your books for 1 week.
• Please return books when they are due so that
  others can enjoy them as well.
