- After graduation you will see a message stating
that you have an Entitlement Certificate waiting
for your application on your ECS Home Page

- Click on the Applications Menu Item and then the
Entitlement Certificate Application Link

Yesthen you can Apply Online by clicking the
Apply Online - If the column labeled Entitlement Complete is
Nothen you have to wait and apply later when
your institution has completed your entitlement
recommendation

If not a U.S. citizen you must apply through a
Regional Office of Education using form 73-03C or
73-03D and 73-91 and show proof of legal presence
and eligibility for employment.

You must answer the child support question even
if you do not have a child or child support
order. If you are more than 30 days delinquent
you must apply through a Regional Office of
Education using form 73-03C or 73-03D.

- If your institution recommended you for a Type 10
Special teaching certificate you have the choice
to have the certificate split and receive a Type
03 Elementary and Type 09 Secondary certificate - Make your choice
- Click on the Submit Button

- The certificate application fee is 30.00 plus
1.75 convenience fee - Accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American
Express

- Enter credit card information must match credit
card billing information - Click on the Next Button

- Click on the Yes selection to approve and
electronically sign the application - Click the Submit Button

or not to forward official transcripts to ISBE - Click on Register My Certificates link

- If Certificate is not issued because of testing
deficiencies you will be sent a deficiency letter
and your certificate will automatically be issued
when you take and pass the appropriate test

application process - Select the region where you want your certificate
registered - Click on the Next Button

- Must Answer whether or not you have children
- Click on the Next Button

- The registration fee for an initial teaching
certificate is 20.00 plus 1.75 convenience fee - Enter your Credit Card Information and click on
the Submit Button - Follow the steps to complete the registration
