• Me, Te, Le, Nos, Os and Les communicate who likes
  something
• And Gusta communicates that the person likes one
  item or an action (infinitive).
• Me gusta el helado.
• Te gusta correr?

  more than one item.
• Nos gustan las fresas.

Clarification

• Since GUSTAR uses Indirect Object Pronouns (me,
  te, le, nos, os, les), it is often necessary to
  clarify who does the liking in the sentence!
• Le gusta el libro -- Who likes the book? He?
  She? You (Ud.)?
• A María le gusta el libro -- Now we
• understand who likes the book!

Clarification

• Use A PERSON to clarify in a sentence using
  GUSTAR (or a similar verb)
• Cant use A yo Use A mí
• Cant use A tú Use A ti
• CAN use A ella, A él, A María, A Paco, A
  nosotros, A ellos . . . . etc.
• If want to say Miguel and I like. . . Use A
  Miguel y a mí!

• The following verbs are conjugated just like

• encantar to really like, to delight
• faltar to lack, be missing to be in need of
• fascinar to fascinate, to be fascinated by
• molestar to bother to be bothered by
• interesar to interest to be interested by
• importar to care about to matter, to be
  important to
• quedar to fit (clothing)
• quedar will be followed by an adjective
• Me queda bien . . . Te quedan flojos, etc.
