Sustaining our precious affordable housing stock.
- Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation
- 916 Arizona households were aided with housing
repairs and renovations in 2008. - Rental Rehabilitation
- 621 multi-family residential units in FY 2008 by
combining resources from the Housing Trust Fund,
CDBG, and HOME. - 40.2 million was dedicated to housing
preservation in just one year, FY 2008

Meeting the housing needs of people with
disabilities, homeless persons and the elderly.
- Serving Seniors
- 609 units of permanently-affordab
le senior rental housing - through the
Low-Income Housing Tax Credits program - Preventing Homelessness
- Eviction Prevention/Emergency Housing
Program (EPEH) helped - 12,536 avoid eviction.
- Providing Permanent Supportive Housing
- Over 1,200 homeless individuals and
families with disabilities have - aided by the Shelter Plus Care program.

- Below Market Mortgages
- 366 Mortgage Revenue Bond (MRB) loans totaling
52,840,358. - Mortgage Credit Certificate Program
- 49 mortgage loans were issued totaling
6,719,566 - Down Payment Assistance
- In the first five months of 2008, the Homes for
Arizonans Down Payment Assistance program has
helped 183 home buyers, - with an average of amount of assistance
totaling 11,667. - For Sale Development
- Building a shared equity program and
creating Land Trusts. -

opportunities for first time home buyers - Seventy Percent has assisted rural Arizona
communities with limited access to other housing
