Marathon for the awareness for Fair Trade
Climate Change was organised at Eklavya Sports
Stadium of Agra, the run was flagged by Mr. Paul
Myers (WFTO-President), Mr. S.C.Mittal (CEO-
Pushpanjali), Prof. S.Sharma (Former Prseident
FTF-India), Mr. O.P. Yadav (FTF-India) 600
students, volunteers and producers ran 4 kms
carrying messages on fair trade and climate
change. Mr. Paul Myers distributed the t-shirts
with world fair trade day logo to the
participants The program concluded with messages
from Mr Paul Myers and Mr. S.C.Mittal on climate
change and fair trade

5Producers Meet at Pushpanjali
Mr. Paul Myers addressed the producers and
employees of Pushpanjali about the fair trade he
also interacted with producers and received open
feedback from the producers. A presentation about
Pushpanjali and its impact was also delivered.
Representatives from Centad also graced the event.
Mr. Paul Myers views My visit to Pushpanjali was
an inspiration to me on this very special Fair
Trade Day. I found a very good caring spirit
among you Pushpanjali has kept the business
elements and fair trade together. The emphasis on
education, self owned housing unit of producers,
fair trade awareness among the producers with
medical care is an excellent practice at
Pushpanjali
6250 scholars brainstormed Climate Change
The seminar on climate change, fair trade and
its impact on human life was organised by
Pushpanjali Fair Trade Forum India in
partnership with Centad supported by Hivos and
facilitated by R.B.S. Degree College. The
objective of the seminar was to make the
students, public, and producers aware and
responsible about fair trade, climate change at
its impact. The Key speakers at the seminar were
Mr. Paul Myers , Mr. Linu Philip Mathew Mr.
Kumar Gautam from Centad, Mr.S.C.Mittal from
Pushpanjali, Prof. S.Sharma, Dr. SVS Chauhan, Dr.
RS Verma, Dr. Ranjit Kumar, Dr. Mridula Singhal,
Mr. Bhuvnesh Singhal
