• The Dative Case expresses the INDIRECT OBJECT.
• IO is the person or thing involved in the action
  (other than the NOM subject or ACC direct object)
• Often use the English words to and for to
  translate
• Usually comes in between the Subject and Direct
  Object in a Latin sentence
• NOM DAT ACC VERB
