Introduction to
2Overview of CCM User
- Your Cisco IP Phone is a networked device that
can share information with other networked
devices, including your computer. - Cisco CallManager User (CCM User) is a Web
application that allows you to - control phone features and settings, such as
Speed Dials and Call Forward All Calls - establish and customize phone services, including
faSt Dial and Personal Address Book
NOTE Your phone may recycle (reboot) after
updating via CCM User.
3Logging in to CCM User
- CCM User Web address
- Enter your User ID, Password, and click Log On.
(Your User ID is your UA NetID and your temporary
Password/Pin is the first 5 digits of your EID). - If any errors occur during log in, contact UITS
Account Administration at cuac_at_arizona.edu or
call 621-2985.

4Security Certificates
- A Security Alert dialog box may appear each time
you log on - if so, select OK for the Security Error
- if you get the Web Site Certified by an Unknown
Authority dialog box, accept the certificate and
select OK
5User Options Menu
- Your phone model will be automatically displayed.
If you have more than one phone, select the phone
you wish to configure from the drop down menu.
- Select the option you wish to set
6Change Your Password
- Use this page to change your CCM User password
- You were given a default password. For security
reasons, change the default to your own password.
- Change your password after initial login!
7Forward Your Calls
- Use your phones CFwdALL SoftKey or CCM User to
forward all calls on your primary line - You must use CCM User to call forward all other
lines - No phone indication of secondary line forwarding
Do not enter hyphens or spaces.
Log Off CCM User Return to the Menu Update changes
Correction If you do not have voicemail and you
Forward All Calls to UA Voicemail, callers will
NOT receive a busy signal. Instead, callers will
be directed to the UAs main voice mail number
(621-2000) and will be asked to re-dial the
seven-digit number of the person they are
attempting to reach.
8Speed Dials
- Unused line buttons on phone can be used as Speed
Dials. The quantity depends on your number of
lines and phone model - NOTE Speed Dial Settings not associated with a
phone button are not available for use at this
time. DO NOT enter numbers here
Do not use hyphens or spaces!

- You must separately subscribe to each service
in order to access it - 1. Select an Available Service from the drop down
menu - 2. Press Continue

- Build your My Address Book first, then faSt Dials
- faSt Dial numbers can be entered via your phone
or CCM User

10Subscribe to Address Book
- Once you have selected My Address Book, type in
your UserID (UA NetID) and PIN - Change your PIN before subscribing to services by
following the instructions on page 21 of this
presentation - Click Subscribe

- Select New Subscription
- Select faSt Dials from the drop down menu
- Click Continue

- Once you have selected faSt Dials, type in your
UserID (UA NetID) and PIN - Click Subscribe

- To unsubscribe a
- service
- Select the service
- Enter your UserID (UA NetID) and PIN
- Click Unsubscribe
- Click OK on the pop-up window
- You can re-subscribe
- later, if desired

15Address Book Entries
- To add new Address Book entries, click on Add a
New Entry (see next page) - Once you have subscribed to and populated My
Address Book, you can search for names from this
screen - You must click Find, rather than pressing your
Enter key
Note Address Book will sort by Last name but
display information in the Nickname field FaSt
Dials do not sort information will be displayed
as it was entered To View entire Address Book,
click Find
16Add New Address Book Entry
- Fill in the required fields, plus any other
information you wish - Type phone numbers without dashes and spaces and
with the number 1 for long distance, if necessary - Click Insert to add each entry
- You must click Add a New Entry for each new entry
17Creating a faSt Dial Entry
- Once your entry is in the Address Book, you may
include it in your faSt Dials by clicking on the
Fast Dials icon , which takes you to the Add a
New Fast Dial Entry dialog box (see next page) - Edit the entry by clicking on one of the names
- Click Fast Dials to see a complete list of your
faSt Dials

- 2. Highlight the entry you wish to include in
faSt Dial and pick the phone number to associate
with it - Or choose the directory number you wish to
associate with that Index number. If you do this,
only the phone number will appear in the faSt
Dial list - Click Insert
- Select an Index number for the faSt Dial - from 1
to 99. The Index is the number youll use to dial
a call using the faSt Dial SoftKey from your phone
19Modifying faSt Dials
- Entries can be Modified by clicking the
Description words or the icon - faSt Dial entries can be deleted either on this
page or from the Address Book, by selecting the
check box and clicking Delete Selected
20Line Text Labels
- For multi-line phones, you can change the Text
Label for the lines other than the primary line
that display on your phone - 1. Type in the Text Label you desire
- 2. Click Update when finished
Note Changing line text doesnt change phone
lines, just how they are labeled
21Change Your PIN
- Use this page to change your CCM User PIN
- You were given a default PIN to log on the first
time (1st 5 digits of your EID) - Change your PIN after initial login!

22Important PIN Information
- For faSt dial or My Personal Address Book users
- When you change your PIN, the system does not
automatically change the PIN used for earlier
subscriptions made to faSt Dials or My Address
Book. - When you change your PIN, you must
- Log on to CCM User
- Select the Change your PIN (see page 21)
- Enter your current PIN, your new PIN and confirm
your new PIN - Click Update
- Select the Return to the Menu
- Select IP Phone Services (see page 9)
- Select one of the services listed under Your
Subscribed Services - Move to the UserPin field
- Enter your newly changed PIN number
- Click Update
- Note If you do not update your PIN on the
IP Phone Services page, you will experience an
error message when you try to use these services
from your phone.
