  keyboards or requiring many parameters, etc

• toolbar functions should be global
• allow users to
• move to more convenient places
• customize with options used most often
• toggle the toolbars on and off

• Make sure users can access the same functions
  from menus and via keyboards
• Organizing buttons
• order them logically
• put the most frequent actions to the left (left
  to right)
• keep related buttons grouped together
• Usability tests
• identify the function from the label
• understand the meaning of the pictures (ease of
  learning)
• remember the meaning, once learned (memorability)
• discriminate between similar pictograms
