What is the Oz-Roll-Drive-System?

• Completely new drive system for roller shutters
• Low-voltage-technology, battery-operated
• The mechnism is installed sidewise in the
  wallplate
• No mains power an no hard wiring needed
• So it is also working in case of electric
  fallouts

The motor will be installed in the side of the
shutter box

and connected to the wall plate inside the
building with a small two-pole wire.

The shutter can be operated by the controller
with rechargeable battery pack and in-built
micro-processor

• ODS mainly consists of the following Components

• RF-controller, transmitter, 9-channel-transmitter

The ODS-Mech

• Installation in the end-plate
• Automatic upper endstop
• Will stop both in up- and down-direction at
  obstacles in most cases
• Fits into the most common end-plates for built-on
  roller-shutters starting with a box-size of 165
  mm
• Has a tough die cast aluminium housing
• Supplied with 2.5m of cable

Axle adaptor, end-stop, axle sleeve

• The connection between drive and axle
• Made up of heavy duty aluminium incorporating a
  sealed machine bearing for longevity.
• Fits to 50-mm-tube or with axle-sleeve to
  60-mm-octagonal axle (SW40 und SW50 to come soon)
• Incorporates an innovative down stop mechanism
  that is required for the automatic limit setting.

ODS-Controller

• Includes switch buttons, micro-processing and
  batteries
• Intelligent LED indicators showing operational
  and charge characteristics.
• NiMH-batteries with electronically maximized
  life-time
• Fully charged batteries will operate a
  roller-shutter for 50 cycles
• Charging time 6 hours

Wall plate, charger

• Positive semi-concealed wipe through terminal
  connections reduces build up of dust residue
  etc.
• Plug-in connections on the backside for the motor
  loom
• Charger can be directly connected with the
  Controller
• Alternatively Controller can be charged while in
  the wallplate (no over-charging is possible)

• Loom extension (up to 10 metres)

RF-control

• Controller with integrated receiver (is used in
  place of the normal controller Here, each
  shutter will need ist own controller)
• 1-channel-transmitter
• 9-channel-transmitter (channel ten is a central
  command for all shutters)
• Channels can be freely chosen and combined, e.g.
  for group operation
