Fay in Montreal,Quebec A Long Weekend in Mid
April
  • Language immersion is the most
  • effective way learn a language because
  • it allows you to interact in a more
  • realistic way. Immersion programs
  • enable students to live the language
  • rather than learn about it in a quasi
  • real language environment like the
  • classroom setting. Through this rich
  • opportunity, Students experience the
  • culture and the idiosyncrasies of the
  • people who speak the language thus
  • making it a very meaningful
  • experience.

What does this all mean for your children?
  • Q What is the best environment in which to
    discover a childs fullest potential?

44
A The one that affords the greatest access to a
world of options and experiences.
  • As one common answer to the question, Why do we
    educate? many
  • would offer, To prepare students for life in the
    real world. This
  • meant something different to my father and me,
than it will for my own
  • children. Where the emphasis used to be put on
    real, as if to suggest
  • a certain artificiality of school life, and
    world was more of a
  • euphemism to suggest a generic geography beyond
    the
  • classroom, those who design curriculum today MUST
    emphasize
  • world, and focus on the primacy of the true
    international community
  • we are becoming, because that is precisely where
    our most important
  • lessons will be learned, our lives will be lived,
    and our business will be
  • transacted, in classrooms and offices without
    walls.

    Address, Velammal
