Unfortunately, many childrenhave experienced
some form of discrimination. The children who
wrote this issue felt better after talking
about their experiences, and felt that they
understood each other better.
2"I Have a Dream"
- On August 28, 1963 Martin Luther King, Jr.,
delivered his - famous "I Have a Dream" speech to more than
200,000 - people attending the March on
- Washington. The demonstrators
- came together to demand the
- right to vote and to have
- equal opportunities for African
- Americans and to stop racial
- discrimination.
