GOLF COURSE GREENS
  • The water used on greens is twice that used on
    fairways or tees
  • This is doubled again in summer

The amount of water used in Summer is twice the
amount of that used in Winter. There are channels
through the course that supply water to the
plants around the course and also as water
traps. There is one main water hole where the
rest of the courses water is pumped from. This is
maintained extremely well although there were
bulrushes and willow trees around the edges. This
water hole is not pumped from the Jordan river,
but once it gets to an overflow point it flows
into the course dam.
