We are making a book for our classroom!
Our book will help her students who cant
remember the definitions of some of math and
science vocabulary.
Each person will create one page of the book.

Symmetry- a shape that can be folded in half and
both sides will match up.
Congruence- one shape can be flipped, turned, or
rotated to match another shape.
In this picture, the line of symmetry can be seen
along the trunk of the tree. If you folded the
tree in half, along the trunk, both sides of the
tree would line-up.
The kernels of corn in this picture are
congruent. If they were turned and placed on top
of each other they would line-up perfectly.

shows geometry.
2. Find one picture in a magazine that shows
geometry.
3. Define the vocabulary word that can bee seen
in your picture. Write two or three sentences
about this vocabulary word and the picture.
