Veterans Day is observed on November 11th. It
is a holiday that honors the men and women who
have served in the United States Armed Forces.

The U.S. Armed Forces are made up of several
branches. They are the Navy, the Marine Corps,
the Air Force, and the Coast Guard.

Navy
The Navy is trained to fight at sea.

AIR FORCE
The Air Force is trained to fight in the air.

ARMY
The army is trained to fight on land.

Marine Corps
The Marine Corps are trained To fight on land or
sea.

COAST GUARD
The Coast Guard is trained to protect our
coastlines.

Oh, say can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last
gleaming? Whose broad stripes and bright stars
thru the perilous fight, O'er the ramparts we

rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was

which it stands, one nation under God All of the
50 individual states brought together with Gods
blessing Indivisible Incapable of being
separated With liberty The right to live a free
life And justice Being treated fairly For
all! For every single person alive, regardless of
color or race

Eulogy for a Veteran
Do not stand at my grave and weep.I am not
there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that
blow.I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the
sunlight on ripened grain.I am the gentle autumn

the swift uplifting rush   of quiet birds in
