What is it?

• A riot between the American colonists and the
  British soldiers over taxes
• Colonist were angry at the British for invading
• British shot 5 colonists and wounded 3

Why did this happen?

• British came to America to enforce the Townshend
  Act
• Colonist created a mob in front of Customs House
  (where the British soldiers were guarding)

• Didnt want the British to control their homes
