• Romanian Association Against AIDS (ARAS) is one
  of the most important NGO in Romania.
• In the last 14 years, various HIV prevention
  programs and social services for people living
  with AIDS were developed.
• The vulnerable, groups including sex workers and
  drug users, represent one of the ARAS
  priorities.

• In September 1999 ARAS has launch the Night by
  Night Project targeting female sex workers in
  Bucharest
• In 2001, within the same Project, it was
  initiate the harm reduction component for IDUs.
• In 2003 the outreach workers succeed to reach
  MSM/CSW
• Since 2003 the activities are developed in
  Bucharest, Ilfov, Iasi, Constanta, Timis, Dolj,
  Bacau, Neamt, Arad and Cluj.
