Western Diamondback
  • They are about 3 to 5 feet long.
  • The Diamondback is the largest western
    rattlesnake.
  • They eat mainly rats and mice.
  • Its enemy is the roadrunner.

  • The desert tortoise eats grasses, desert shrubs,
    and the fruit form the prickly pear and saguaro
    cacti.
  • It is awake during the day and sleeps at night.
  • They dig burrows and find shelters in rocky
