Slogan
  • The current promotion for PBS throughout the
    country is Be More
  • There are several different Be Moreads and for
    the 60 campaign we came up with the phrase Be
    MoreYouthful.
  • This phrase is the basic idea for the show 60
    shown on PBS

  • The program sixty plus is designed to give
    seniors a feeling of youth and to help make them
    more active.
  • The shows target audience is of course seniors 60
    years and older, it is a locally shown program
    that is hoping to get nationally syndicated.
  • The program has shown seniors everything from how
    to stay youthful by working out, to sex after 60.

Our Goal
  • The goal is to promote this show to seniors, not
    only for entertainment values but also as an
    educational program to help seniors become more
    youthful, or remain youthful and to be able to
    show them the content of the program.

Our Promotion
  • Our promotion is Be MoreYouthful. To show this
    we want wanted to create ads for television,
    radio, and also produce posters and table top ads.

Television Ad
  • The television ad will show seniors being active.
    Not typical shots of seniors in the doctors
    office, but seniors jogging, lifting, playing
    sports (i.e. Golf, Bowling, Horseback Riding),
    and socializing with friends and family.
  • The ad would also have music identifiable to
    seniors but would also be fast paced to show a
    more youthful side, and exemplify the purpose of
    the 60 program.
  • The Ad would run on cable television stations
    that are frequently watched by seniors 60 years
    and older, to enable us to catch as many seniors
    as possible

The Radio Ad
  • The radio ad would be seniors talking about being
    youthful, or current activities that help them
    feel more youthful.
  • Also fast pace music from there generation would
    be played underneath the commercial again to
    exemplify youth, more particularly their own
    youth.
  • The ad would be placed on radio stations
    frequently listened to by seniors

The PSA
  • Senior 1 - Life Doesnt end at 60, 60 shows us
    how its really just the beginning!
  • Senior 2 - It strives to educate seniors about
    being more active.
  • Senior 3 60 helps seniors to learn how to
    live a healthy and happy life!
  • Narrator So join us on Thursdays at 1030pm on
    Channel 27

Table Top Ads and Posters
  • The table top, and poster ads would be simple,
    and show a picture of seniors doing something
    active in the background, and on top would be
    print information about the show. Past program
    content, the goal, the time and station as well.

Conclusion
  • All of these ads would embody the phrase Be
    MoreYouthful and contain information that would
    be informative, and catching to seniors 60 years
    and older.
