The god creator of all things

• Native Americans believe in a god creator of all
  things,  The Great spirit .
• They believe too in auxiliary spirits (fire
  spirit, wind spirit or hunt god).

The kachinas

• These spirits are called Kachinas. They are the
  manifestation of the gods on Earth,the messengers
  of the gods to the men.

• They are embodied in masked dancers
• During ceremonies, Adult give children kachinas
  dolls.

Totem poles and dream catchers

• The totem pole is a vertical sculpture
  representing a mythical being, the ancestor of
  the tribe.
• The dream catcher is a trap for nightmares. It
  only lets the goods dreams through.

Shaman/Medecine man

• The shaman or medecine man heals the members of
  the tribes with herbs and prayers.
