Raising Children at a Young Age

Societys structure Gender Roles
  • Due to the way our Society is structured, in
    order to be successful, you must be able to beat
    the competition. In order to accomplish this,
    you must be more physically aggressive.
  • Since men generally tend to be the more dominant
    players by nature, the possess the economical,
    physical and political powers of our society.
  • Women generally carry the emotional, sexual,
    social and communicational powers, but are also
    looked upon as the weaker or more passive ones.

Androgyny
  • Blending of masculinity and femininity to an
    individual.
  • Teaching kids while they are young about both
    male and female roles.
  • -Letting boys know that it is okay to be
    sensitive towards certain situations.
  • -Teaching girls to be a little bit more
    aggressive towards a situation.

Always Remember
  • Not to have certain expectations of what a male
    or a female should carry out in any situation.
  • Help children to learn when they are young that
    it isnt wrong to act more compassionate/aggressiv
    e towards a situation.
