Dreamy Meat-Pie Preparation time 15

Ingredients
  • ½ Kg. (1.1 pound or 1lb) of sirloin lamb or beef
  • 1gk/2.2 pound or 2lb (in one parcel) of puff
    pastry (unfrozen but cold)
  • 50ml/1.5ounce/ ¼ glass of Extra Virgin olive oil
  • 20ml/ ¾ ounce of Soy sauce or ½ size of Teriyaki
    souse
  • Salt and Ground pepper for spicing.
  • 1 egg
  • 4-5 leafs of basil (not necessary)
  • A disposable English cake tray

Method
  • At the beginning, the method is like the first
    steps we did before in the roast-beef (recipe No.
    2)
  • Take the meat and rub it with the olive oil.
  • Spice the meat with salt and ground pepper
  • Put it in the oven for 1 hour (60 min.)on
    200c/392f
  • Now we have tiny and roast piece of beef.

Method
  • Wait till the beef be tepid
  • Cut the piece in the middle to get 2 pieces on
    same size.
  • Cut the margins to have them twin (when they hot
    they are so tasty)
  • Take the puff pastry and open it on your working
    surface and flatten it if needed
  • Take 2 leafs of basil (not necessary)

  • Pre-heat the oven for 180c/356f
  • Put the 2 pieces and base them on the pastry, and
    add 2 more leafs of basil (recommended but not
    essential)
  • Wrap the meat with the pastry carefully.
  • Put the parcel in an English cake tray (this one
    is disposable-page2). keep the pastry junctions
    will be face down
  • Pierce with fork around and you can decorated it
    with some pattern cake.
  • Brush it all around with yellow egg
  • Place it again in the oven for more 20-25 min. or
    till you can see the baked color.
