Requirements

• MoMac will produce on behalf of CNet an ad-funded
  editorial site for their brand Gamespot
• This document is intended to dissect the Gamespot
  feed and provide some idea as to how it will be
  transformed within MoMacs framework
• It is also intended to give interested parties an
  idea of final product definition and design.
• For GameSpot well be using news (text, no
  image), reviews (summary, score, text, images,
  cheats), previews (text and images) this
  requirement was set in discussions between CNet
  and MoMac

Feed details

• Given the feed you gave me - http//feeds.gamespot
  .com/feeds/halo3.xml - news articles seem to be
  console specific rather than game specific (as
  dicatated by the lttopicgt tag. Am I correct in
  this assumption?
• All the news articles in that sample feed are
  indeed associated with the game Halo 3.
• The width of screenshot of the game is extremely
  small 100 pixels wide. We recommend that
  article images are 640 pixels wide. Is this the
  widest image you can supply us? Not that this is
  a great issue, but most handsets have screens
  wider than 100 pixels, so this means that the
  screenshot will look extremely small
• We can provide larger screenshots. Not a problem.
• OVERALL FEED QUESTIONS
• How often is the feed updated?
• We can be flexible on how often the feed is
  updated. We can update the feed at any frequency
  desired that's makes sense for the content.
• How may times a day / week / month should we grab
  the feed?
• I think instead of saying how frequently we can
  update the feed it  might be helpful to know how
  the information is intended to be used.  Then we
  can adjust the feed(s) accordingly. For example,
  cheats/hints might be appropriate to update once
  a day or once a week. However, if you're planning
  on using news then we may want to do that as
  a separate feed that's updated every fifteen
  minutes. Knowing how things will be used on the
  front-end can help us plan here. We can be
  flexible.
• Are articles every updated?
• Yes. Definitely. Any article we publish can be
  updated after it has gone live. It's actually
  quite important to us for partners to reflect 
  updates of our content. The recent Kane and Lynch
  debacle highlighted  the importance of this.

OVERALL Halo 3 builds upon the concepts of Halo 2
in ways that you'd expect, but there are also new
modes and options that send the series in
exciting new directions. GAMESPOT

If you thought that with the release of Halo 3
Microsoft and Bungie were done separating you
from your money this year, you're in for a bit of
a surprise on December 11. That's when both
companies will release the Heroic downloadable
content pack for Halo 3, a collection of three
new maps that will cost 800 Microsoft points on
Xbox Live Marketplace, or about 10. These new
maps aim to flesh out Halo 3's highly popular
multiplayer gameplay even further, offering an
intense new large-scale battlefield, a deeply
modifiable small-scale arena, and a beautiful new
outdoor map reminiscent of the popular level
Blood Gulch. All three levels are a blast, too,
as we had a chance recently to travel up to
