Power Modes

• The PCMCIA Antenna Cards and MUs have two power
  modes
• Continuous Access Mode (CAM). In CAM mode the
  radio receiver is always on.
• Power Save Polling Mode (PSP). In PSP mode the
  radio receiver is configured to conserve battery
  life.
• The PCMCIA Antenna Card will be set to the CAM
  mode.
• The MUs (PDT 7240s) will be set to the PSP mode

• Ensure that the Floppy Disk drive is in the drive
  bay before booting the laptop.
• Turn on Laptop.
• Insert PCMCIA Card into slot
• A configuration utility will appear
