6Power Modes
- The PCMCIA Antenna Cards and MUs have two power
modes - Continuous Access Mode (CAM). In CAM mode the
radio receiver is always on. - Power Save Polling Mode (PSP). In PSP mode the
radio receiver is configured to conserve battery
life. - The PCMCIA Antenna Card will be set to the CAM
mode. - The MUs (PDT 7240s) will be set to the PSP mode

bay before booting the laptop. - Turn on Laptop.
- Insert PCMCIA Card into slot
- A configuration utility will appear
