9Safety is of utmost importance in everyones
lives. Unfortunately, violence has made its way
into American schools. School safety has taken
on new meaning. The problems were not all
created inside the schoolhouse walls making it
impossible for school personnel to come up with
all the solutions. The solutions to these
problems will take the combined efforts of
everyone. Today, perhaps it does take a
community to raise a child.
