13Transgender ???
What exactly does transgender mean and who are
the transgenders?
14Transgender
persons who might include themselves in such a
definition includes transsexuals (pre-, post-,
non-op), transvestites, cross-dressers, persons
with ambiguous genitalia, persons who have chosen
to perform ambiguous social genders, and persons
who have chosen to perform no gender at all.
15Transgender
This definition, therefore, includes all persons
who are outside the hetero-normative
constructions of sexuality
16Transgender
Based on Gender construction and sexual
orientation, all transgenders can be classified
into four broad categories. Transvestites Transs
exuals Hermaphrodites / Intersexed Drag queens or
satla kothis
17Transgender
Transvestites are usually male cross-dressers
for whom dressing as women is a fetish or kink
their sexual orientation being heterosexual in
that they will choose/prefer to have sex
mostly/only with females/women.
18Transgender
Transsexuals Have an issue/problem with their
biological sex, in that they feel they are born
in the wrong bodies. Thus, male-to-female (M2F)
transgenders self-identify as female feel that
they were wrongly born in male
bodies/anatomies.
19Transgender
Transsexuals Such males will go in for gender
self-allocation by castration / re-constructive
surgery. Most nirvan (castrated or post-op)
hijras are, therefore, transsexuals in the
clinical sense of the term.
20Transgender
Hermaphrodites / Intersexed is a human born
with ambiguous genitalia. Thus, there may be a
testes but no ovaries or uterus penis and no
testes. Such cases are usually far and few in
between. Some estimates are that only one in
500,000 humans is born like such
21Transgender
The last category, which is clinically the only
behavioural homosexual category, is the male
cross-dresser. He cross-dresses because it
becomes a method of sexually attracting other
men/males for sexual interaction/intercourse.
Such men are called satla kothis, or
drag-queens
22Anal Sex
- Inserting the erect penis into the anus .
- Receiving the erect penis into the anus.
23Fellatio
- The introduction of the male genitalia into the
mouth of a partner.
24Cunnilingus
- The introduction of the female genitalia into the
mouth of a partner.
25Masturbation
- The manipulation of the genitalia for sexual
gratification.
