2Initiative Overview
- Launched the Initiative with the Governors Press
Release on October 15th in Lincoln, Nebraska - Currently working with 10 Districts across the
state to install the software and begin using the
e-Transcript Service - Strong support from Nebraskas Colleges with 100
of the public Colleges Universities registered
to receive transcripts electronically and half of
the private colleges registered. - Next week high school superintendents will
receive a letter inviting them to participate in
the e-Transcript initiative. - Schools will register for one of 5 installation
phases. Goal is to have the majority of schools
registered to receive e-Transcripts by June of
2008.

paperless environment for the request delivery
of students official transcripts to all
accredited colleges nationwide

anytime day or night - Provides efficiency, consistency, and dramatic
cost savings for schools - Time Savings, enabling staff to focus on more
important student matters - Implemented/trained within an hour or less per
school - Official transcripts sent to all colleges
nationwide, as well as military, scholarship
funds, NCAA Clearinghouse and 3rd party
institutions such as insurance companies or
employers - Colleges receive consistent and easily stored and
shared transcript in an expedited timeframe
4Technology Overview
- Docufides unique technology allows transcripts
to be sent electronically from any SIS within a
20 minute installation process.
Step 1 Student transcripts are printed from
schools Student Information System to Docufides
installed Client, where they are securely
uploaded to our processing center. Transcripts
can be processed individually, in batches, or via
bulk upload. Step 2 Once uploaded the image of
the original transcript is captured as well as
the data which is extracted and saved as XML,
allowing delivery in multiple data or image
formats, depending on the recipients preference.
