Iftar Fundraising with IANE-ANA Tomorrow,
10/6/07 Please join us for Ramadan Iftar hosted
by both Al-Noor Academy and the Islamic Academy
of New England. We would be so honored by your
attendance and we are pleased to announce our
very special guest speaker for the evening, Br
Yahya Hendi. We are attaching a flyer of this

Arabic Standardized Testing We will be
performing a general Arabic placement test on
Tuesday, October 16th, to determine that our
students are at the most appropriate level of
instruction. Students are not required to undergo
any formal preparations as the test will be based
on students current comprehension and command of
the language. The results will enable us to
ascertain and ensure that our children are
receiving an education that best addresses their
needs and maximize their potential for growth in
a nurturing and motivating environment.
- Welcome Sr Rukhsana Rajpoot !
- We are so pleased to welcome Sr Rukhsana
Rajpoot as our substitute teacher for Second
Grade until the return of our dear Sr Sarah Boyle
who is on maternity leave. Sr Rukhsana was once
Principal of IANE, and she previously also taught
Second Grade! She is extremely dedicated, highly
resourceful, and a familiar face amongst our IANE
community. -

2 We need Computers, please !
- We are putting together a computer resource room
for our upper elementary (3rd, 4th 5th) grades.
We presently have 6 computers and were looking
to gather 6 more as we have an average of 16
students per class. Please donate any spare
working computers you may have in your homes and,
inshaAllah, theyll be put to good use in the
education of our children. - JAK and May Allah accept all your good deeds.
