Lesson 1 Constitutional Convention

• Reenactment of the Constitutional Convention
• Students each have role/committee assignment
• Drafters Committee specific roles like George
  Washington, Thomas Jefferson, etc.
• Costume Committee must research fashion trends
• Document Committee in charge of locating and
  describing the Constitution and the Bill of
  Rights
• Scene Committee in charge of researching and
  describing the environment at the Constitutional
  Convention
• Whole class coordinates reenactment
• Focus on meaning of Constitution and Bill of
  Rights
