  • Print out first 2 slides. Photocopy front to
    back. Then fold hamburger style down the
    middle, followed by 2 more hamburger folds.
    Unfold to the first fold you made and clip
    halfway from center fold. Then you can manipulate
    this into a foldable book. Some of the numbers
    will be on the inside, but when the students
    travel to those levels, they can refold so that
    those numbers are on the outside.
  • Students could use websites to learn more about
    the places they are visiting. This would
    integrate Math and SS. https//www.cia.gov/library

  • Hang a world map so that students could have
    small markers with their names and move their
    name to the place they are currently visiting.
  • I included 13, 14, 15 for the over achievers who
    recall their facts more quickly than the rest of
    the class. They can choose the place they would
    like to visit for learning those facts.
