JaguarDalton Peterson Dzaboff

• Live in North and Central parts of the South
  American continent in the Amazon Basin
• Eat cattle, horses, mash deer, brocket deer, pack
  Agouti, monkeys, and fish
• Often confused with the leopard
• Has powerful Jaws

• Jaguars have a brownish yellow base fur with
  small dots in irregular shapes.
• Jaguars have no enemies.

ToucanRashene Womack

• Toucans are black with one or two other colors.
• Toucans live in the tropical forest.
• Loggers are their enemies and some birds prey.
• A toucan can be heard one and a half-mile away.

• A woodpecker is its closest relative.
• Toucans eat small fruits, birds, eggs, and
  rodents.

AnacondaAlen Masinovic

• An anaconda is green with big black spots. It has
  a narrow head with a fat body. It can reach up to
  29 feet, and it can weigh 30 to 500 pounds..

• Anacondas live in either South America, Guiahas,
  Amazon, in the Orinoco River, and the Regions.
• Anacondas eat chicken, crocodiles, jaguars,
  caimars, wild pigs, and fish.
• Its greatest enemies are humans, who kill them
  out of fear, and for their skin.
• Anacondas can hold their breath under water for
  10 minutes.
• The anaconda is the worlds largest snake. There
  have been recorded cases of attacks on humans.

Blue Morpho ButterflySarah Gronau

• The Morpho Butterfly has blue wings and has a
  brown edge with white spots, and is six inches
  long.
• It lives in rainforests of South and Central
  America, Brazil, Costa Rica, and Venezuela.
• It drinks rotting fruit, nectar, and herbivore.
• It enemies are baby jaguars.

• The Morpho Butterfly protects itself by shining
  its blue color in the sun so it can blind its
  enemies.

• Piranhas live in the Amazon Rainforest.
• Piranhas eat other fish and mammals.
• They dont have enemies.

• An interesting fact is reports of piranhas
  attacking people are rare!
• I think piranhas are scary, and have razor sharp
  teeth.

Spider MonkeyNickolas Kutsch

• Spider monkeys are 15 to 35 in., weight is 12 to
  16 pounds, colors are golden, red, buff, brown,
  black, head is small.
• Spider monkeys are often found in tropical rain
  forests in the western Hemisphere, and Central
  Bolivia.
• Spider monkeys eat young leaves, flower seeds,
  sometimes bark, decaying wood, honey, insects,
  insect larva, and bird eggs.
• Poachers are their biggest enemies and the
  jaguar.
• Spider monkeys rarely come down to the jungle
  floor.
• Its tail is longer than its body.
• Spider monkeys are endangered because people are
  killing and shooting them.

• Sloths have a thick brown fur coat. Sloths are
  about the size of a cat. They have a short, flat
  head, big eyes, a short snout, a short or
  non-existent tail, long legs, and tiny ears.
• Sloths live in trees in the tropical rain forests
  of South and Central America.

• Sloths eat leaves, tender young shoots, and
  fruit.
• Sloths are hunted by jaguars, harpy eagles and
  people.
• Sloths sleep during the day.
• Sloths are the slowest mammal on Earth.
• Sloths got their name from their slow movement.

• Brown with a yellow band along each side of the
  body
• Live in habitats near rivers and streams in
  Mexico, Ecuador, South Tropical America, and the
  Amazon Rainforest
• Eat insects, small invertebrates, fruit, flowers,
  and small vertebrates.
• Large birds of prey, predatory fish, large
  reptiles, and mammals are its enemies

• They are 2-3 feet long when fully grow
• Harmless to humans
• Run over water real fast on their back feet
• Weigh 200-600 grams.

Cock of the RockSydney Lundgren

• Cock of the Rocks eat insects, fruit, and small
  vertebrates.
• Male Orange body with black and gray wings, and
  a black tail and yellow legs and beak. Female
  Rusty red color and legs are rusty too.
• It lives in Bolivia, Brazil, Peru, Colombia,
  Venezuela, and Ecuador.

• The male dances to attract a female. It will
  spread out its wings and show off its beautiful
  feathers.
• Cock of the Rocks enemies are hawks, eagles,
  puma, and Boa Constrictors.

• The tree frog is bright green, sky blue along the
  ribs, has orange toes, and red eyes.
• It lives in the Rain forest of Costa Rica
  (Central America)
• They eat flies, moths, grasshoppers, crickets,
  and possibly other small frogs.
• Its enemies are snakes, bats, and big birds.
  
• Tree frogs are excellent jumpers.
• The female grows to about 3 inches.
• The male grows to about 2 inches.
• Tree frogs are nocturnal.
