celebrate their 65th birthday - The bad news is that 4,550 people who are 65 and
older will die today - The news is today we increase the older

9Saving for Retirement
10Saving for Retirement
11The view of aging
- Today we have the tendency to look at aging as a
deficit hearing and vision loss, slowing down
physically, memory loss, becoming crotchety - Job 1212 Wisdom belongs to the aged, and
understanding to those who have lived many years
12And he (Jesus) said to them, You have a fine way
of rejecting the commandments of God, in order to
keep your tradition! For Moses said, Honor,
your Father and Mother and, He who speaks evil
of father or mother, let him surely die but you
say, If a mans tells his father or his mother,
What you would have gained from me is Corban
(that is, given to God)then you no longer permit
him to do anything for his father or mother, thus
making void the word of God through your
tradition which you hand on. And many such
things you do. Mark 79-13
13Eriksons Development
- Erik Erikson final stage of development is
Integrity vs. Despair - Approximately every 83 minutes one adult 65 or
older commits suicide
