  • This strand refers to those aspects of the past
    that help to make the American people unique
    among the peoples of the world while at the same
    time recognizing what we hold in common with
    other people.

ACTIVITIES
Categorize different economic activities as
consumption or production. Determine the land and
resources needed to produce a certain
good. Explain that the demand for factors of
production is derived from the demand of goods
and services. Match each factor of production
with the payment received. Explain that
individuals and households use income to consume
goods and services. Identify the factors that may
influence a producers decision to supply a good
or service. Describe a market and ifdentify

CONCLUSION
  • There are several different branches in the
    Social Studies Curriculum. It is the teachers
    responsibility to know and integrate these
    branches into their daily lesson plans. Enriched
    activities in these daily lesson plans will lead
    to growth of knowledge in social studies.
