• RTOI Spina Bifida Projects
• Longitudinal study of young adults with spina
  bifida at Partners for Inclusive Communities,
  University of Arkansas, looking at obesity,
  social isolation and depression as outcomes
• Cross-sectional, multi-site study of young adults
  with spina bifida, coordinated at University of
  Indiana, looking at quality of life and
  independence as outcomes

• Transition summit held in September 2007
• Developed list of issues for youth with spina
  bifida
• Those attending the meeting will form working
  groups to develop list of best and promising
  practices, as well as most pressing research
  questions
