What is prayer evangelism

• Prayer evangelism is talking to GOD about our
  neighbors before we talk to our neighbors about
  GOD.
• Luke 102 is a command and we need to submit to
  this command of Jesus - to pray to the Lord of
  the Harvest - to send out workers
• Luke 105,8,9 - when you go say - Peace be to
  this house or place. And whatever city you enter,
  and they receive what is set before them, eat
  what is set before you and heal those in it who
  are sick, and say to them - the Kingdom of God
  has come near to you.
• Prepare the soil before you go. We must do
  listening prayer more than anything else we do.
  We must do informed intercession will explain
  those terms
• Supernatural mindset is a Kingdom mindset -
  seeing in the unseen is necessary
• Acts 2617,18 - I am sending you to them to open
  their eyes and turn them from darkness to light,
  and from the power of Satan to God
• If we bless the lost we are no longer cursing
  them. Omission or unbelief towards those who need
  God is still unrighteous.
• Prayer evangelism is based on action and prayer.
  Begin in neighborhoods, schools, workplace. Build
  relationships through loving others. Bring your
  neighbors needs before the Lord.
• Create a canopy of prayer to change spiritual
  climate . Families pray together, paid staff in
  churches go outside into neighborhoods with
  flock.
• Take city map around to other churches in your
  area and break up into prayer platoons - do not
  stop until atmosphere changes. Must be humble and
  pure.

Make peace with the lost- four steps

• 1. Speak peace to the lost - in prayer and in
  person
• 2. Redemption takes place face to face - draw
  near and fellowship with the lost
• 3. Serve their needs - ask what they need and do
  that
• 4. In the God ordained divine appointment time
  and not before - Good News
• Culture of honor and respect for self and others
  is needed. So during this process of submitting
  to the commands of Jesus - forgive yourself and
  others. Remove all guilt or shame from the Body
  of Christ in your City . Receive the conviction
  of the Holy Spirit.
• Pronounce blessings - Proverbs 1111
• Remove all word curses over our city - the power
  of life and death are in the tongues. Ask for
  the Blood of Jesus to cover our city and all
  words spoken about fear about going to the lost
  and soul ish acts done towards the lost and
  religious acts. You could walk your neighborhood
  and repent out loud. In Geneses 126 God told us
  to take dominion in the earth and this includes
  the airwaves.
• Wrong prayers and wrong words effect the
  spiritual climate of a city. Listen to God before
  you pray.

Bless the lost

• As a family - stand in the gap as a watchman on
  the wall - In Exodus 204 - this sins of the
  fathers go back to 3rd or 4th generation - ask
  God to forgive your family lines for any ways in
  which you did not bless the lost - again listen
  to God for specifics

Speak peace

• 2 Cor 44 the god of this world devil has
  blinded the minds of the unbelieving that they
  might not see the light of the Gospel Jesus
  remove all spirits of mind blinding from our
  city. We take dominion over those spirits and
  send you to Jesus. Forgive us Lord for allowing
  those spirits to torment people in our city.
• PRAY PEACE - Lord I enforce the Word of God over
  the unbelieving in our city - as I speak the word
  over our city Lord enforce it 2 Cor 104-6
  The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of
  the world. On the contrary, they prayer
  enforcementhave divine power to demolish
  strongholds. We, body of Christ demolish
  arguments and every pretense that sets itself up
  against the knowledge of God, and we take captive
  every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

Fellowship with the lost

• Once you have prayed your way to peace with the
  lost - wait on God
• Honor your neighbors and fellow workers. Bless
  them again and again.
• Listening to others is a great way to honor and
  bless - and remove all agendas
• Fellowship is two ways - discern how they might
  want to hang out with you.
• Look for a sign - when you can see them soften
  and share a fear or an issue. Keep waiting and
  do not go too far - must keep in step with the
  Holy Spirit.

Be like Jesus

• Love with a pure heart
• Become trustworthy
• Be with people so they might share their felt
  needs
• Prayer addressed felt needs
• Ask Lord help me to keep listening to you and
  follow you
• Jesus only did what the Father did

thanks be made on behalf of all men

• 1 Timothy 23,4 this is good and acceptable in
  the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men
  to be saved and come to a knowledge of the
  truth.
• Christ did his part and sat down. We must stand
  up and pray - and listen and pray more.

• the prayers of a righteous man or woman or child
  is powerful and effective
• Strategic prayer is a bulls eye
• Let your city become a house of prayer - which
  hears from heaven and calls forth what God is
  saying - be still and then pray.

• As we learn how to be kingdom minded and not
  separated by my church only mentality - become
  outreach prayer oriented
• Jesus told Peter, James and John to stop talking
  - hearing impaired men.

• Last 14 chapters of Luke - you can shift your
  spiritual atmosphere in your city
• Create a climate through prayer and blessing
  which is not hospitable for demonic activity.

Spiritual gatekeepers

• Take authority - your home, neighborhood, for
  city leaders,etc. You have the keys to the
  Kingdom - use them more.
• Help your church leaders to become more kingdom
  minded. A church needs to wear two hats -
  pastoral hat and apostolic hat.

Apostolic Hats

• We must as a city be ONE - the prayer of John 17
  - takes time, fellowship and prayer.
• The principle we must include in our lives what
  is Good for the church, rather than for their
  individual congregation.
• 1 Cor 12 - gifts given to people in the church -
  whole church in a city

Ephesians 4 - prayer evangelism

• A city has a spiritual government. Apostles,
  prophets, pastors, teachers and evangelists.
• Let the whole church come together in prayer with
  the spiritual government of the city in place

Reaching cities for GOD

• Treasure Hunts - Gather together and ask God to
  prepare divine appointments see slide on divine
  appointments. Ask God to give words of
  knowledge 1 Cor 12 or pictures, or
  impressions or Scripture, or names. The clues God
  gives will guide you when you go out to be sure
  you get to who God has ordained for you to
  witness to and pray for . Words of Encouragement
  are a great blessing during outreach prayers
  missions.
• Prophetic Prayer and Dream Interpretation -
  people are especially gifted in the spiritual
  gift of prophecy I cor 12 and some have like
  Daniel the ability to interpret dreams. People
  have walked about and done this ministry and also
  set up booths in parks etc. One trainer for

What Should You Pray For ?

• 1. Pray for people to WITNESS - share their story
  with love. May or not be verbal. Ask God for
  strength, love and insight.
• Pray for compassion for the lost - we are to have
  a heart of flesh and not stone. Compassion is
  necessary for prayer and witnessing. Compassion
  helps you cry over the lost and come to God
  humbly. Dare to ask God to give you his heart for
  others.
• Pray for desire to witness - pray this regularly
  and watch the Lord change your heart and prayers.
  
• Pray for boldness - that does not mean to be loud
  or be someone you are not. Ask God for the heart
  to submit to Him and follow Him in prayer and
  evangelism. He wants us to submit first to HIS
  LOVE and then to His Commands. Bold ones were
  first lovers of GOD. Love heals fear . Love and
  His presence and Glory heals us and others
• Pray that you do not operate soulishly. That
  means it is our idea and not Gods. To bear fruit
  we must pray John 15. Pray for grace to wait and
  for the grace to GO.
• Pray Romans 116 - I am not ashamed of the
  Gospel because it is the power of God for the
  salvation of everyone who believes, first for the
  Jew then for the Gentile. Pray that we will not
  sound like a clanging gong and all religious -
  but for soft hearts and pure hearts - clean
  vessels.

What Should you Pray For ?

• Pray for the Lord to bind Satan - Listen to how
  he wants you to pray about binding Satan.
• do not be afraid , keep on speaking, do not be
  silent. For I am with you, and no one is going to
  attack you or harm you, because I have many
  people in this city. to the church in Corinth
  and to your citys believers. Acts 18 9
• Pray for the NEEDS of your city - for the church
  of your city to meet the needs of the people.
  Listen to what specifically Lord has for you to
  pray about.
• Pray for your own needs - Be anxious for
  nothing, but in everything by prayer and
  supplication with thanksgiving let your requests
  be made known to God

Hindrances to prayer evangelism

• 2. Selfishness hinders prayer - you do not ask
  and do not receive, because you ask with wrong
  motives, so that you may spend it on your
  pleasures. James 43
• Doubt hinders prayers - But let him ask with
  faith without any doubting, for the one who
  doubts is like the surf of the sea driven and
  tossed in the wind. Mark 1123
• Un forgiveness hinders prayer - and when you
  stand praying , if you hold anything against
  anyone in your life, your city, your nation,
  etc , forgive him so that your Father in heaven
  may forgive you your sins. Mark 1125
• Pride hinders prayer - Jesus liked that tax
  gatherer and not the Pharisees. In Philippians 2
  is says that we should and do have the same
  attitude as Jesus. IF you are prideful confess it
  and walk in humility.
• A poor relationship between husband and wife and
  with your children. Not honoring your mother and
  father, judging others. We must check in with
  God regularly before we come to His Altar.
