    land.
  • Lakes receive water from rain, other rivers and
    streams flowing into it, and humans adding water
    to it.
  • Lakes lose water from evaporation and when people
    take water out of it.
  • Some lakes are small and some can be the size of
    a state.

  • Lake Martin is a man made lake.
  • The temperature during the summer months exceeds
    90 degrees F. The temperature during the winter
