Chapter OneThe Sisters

• Emily was listening to the songs on her new I
  pod, her younger sister mayana was shouting
• Can I have a go ,can I have a go?
• No you cant! Emily shouted back.
• Their baby sister Ellie was crying, big tears
  rolled down her rosy cheeks. Mayana grabbed Ellie
  as if she were one of her teddies, making her cry
  harder.

Chapter TwoGoing to School

• The next day Mayana ran into Emily's room jumping
  on her bed waking her up.
• Its breakfast time! she shouted.
• When Emily eventually came downstairs, as usual
  she had her earphones plugged into her ears. As
  she started to walk on the icy cold tiles on the
  kitchen floor she tip-toed, still listening to
  her songs on her Ipod, to the dark brown, wooden
  table which had her cereal upon it, waiting to be
  eaten. After eating breakfast she dashed upstairs
  getting ready for school.
• Rushing out of the door, Emily jumped in all the
  puddles she could ,but her sister ,Mayana, who
  was trailing behind her, did the opposite going
  around the puddles looking as neat as possible. A
  minute later they got to the gate at the front of
  the school St Peter and St Paul CEP School. They
  started to walk up the hill, Mayana, who was in
  reception gasped for air after every one of her
  little steps.

Chapter Three

• When Emily and Mayana had finished a hard day at
  school they waited patiently for their mum. A few
  minutes later their dad arrived at the gate
  pulling a fake smile. Emily knew something was
  wrong but didnt say anything until they all had
  gone home. When their dad opened the dark pink,
  rotting door they both followed him to the
  lounge. On the cream leather sofa sat their mum,
  crying. Their younger sister Ellie sat next to
  her looking as pale as ever.
• Taking a deep breath, Sarah their mum started to
  tell them the bad news
• ellie has a rare desise dartin the only cure is
  the dinta flower which grows in the forest down
  the road she said quietly. There was a long
  silence. Grabbing her coat mayana ran out of the
  door heading for the road her dad ran after her
  as he stopped her a car sped down the road just
  missing mayana and her dad.

Events

• A day later Emily and mayana set of to the woods
  with their dad trailing behind them.
• Emily screamed
• DONT COME
• Mayana copied but in a much nicer way their dad
  eventually left them at the start of the dark
  woods. As they got further into the woods shivers
  went down both of their spines they slowly walked
  on. A twig snapped a noise echoed the wood they
  both quickly grabbed each over not letting go. A
  figure ran out of a bush two red eyes stared at
  them. Emily let go of mayana still shivering even
  though she knew it was a dog.

Resolution and ending

• Minutes later they started to walk again as they
  got closer to the dinta flower a flash of light
  struck turning into a streak of colour. Emily put
  her arm around her sister mayana, comforting her.
  It was at that moment that a little man appeared
  the man started to talk surprisingly in a little
  squeaky voice he spoke
• Do you want some help ive been watching you have
  been looking for the dinta flower haven't you I
  have one right here in my hand take it and give
  it to your little sister Ellie. they both stood
  amazed with their mouths wide open.

Resolution and ending cont..

• With just a blink the sun shone as bright as ever
  when they opened their eyes they stood in front
  of their very own pale pink door. They both
  turned the handle and opened the door with smiles
  on their faces. They had the bong pink flower.
  They put a drop of it in her milk and she drank
  it.
• She was cured, Mayana courld get used to being
  the centre of attention!

Authors Note

• Lucy enjoys going on adventures and so was
  inspired to write a story about a fantasy flower.
• Lucys cousins names were used in the story.
