13- Muncie Post-Democrat Newspaper
- Newspaper published by George Dale from 1921
through 1936, and continued after his death until
the 1950s - Dale was nationally prominent for his battle
against the Klan and used the paper as a weapon
against it and its local members he was
threatened, beaten, and even shot at - Dale was later elected mayor of Muncie,
convicted of bringing booze to a Democratic party
fundraiser, and pardoned by President Roosevelt
