Professor Emeritus of Clinical Medicine at the
Cornell University Medical College, President
Emeritus of the American College of Physicians,

American Osler Society and the American Clinical
and Climatological Association. He is a member
of the Board of Trustees of the Johns Hopkins
University, a member of the Institute of Medicine
of the National Academy of Sciences, and a Fellow
of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.

David Vlahov, Ph.D., Director of CUES, is Adjunct
Professor of Public Health at the Joseph L.
Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia
University, and Adjunct Professor of
Epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg
School of Public Health. He is a member of
several advisory committees to the Institute of
Medicine, the National Institutes of Health and
the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
He is also the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of
Urban Health Bulletin of The New York Academy of
Medicine.
