• Mission Statement User services is committed to
  provide responsive and high quality desktop
  audio/visual support to FSU Administrative
  offices, University sponsored computer labs and
  classrooms.

Technical Support

• Provides desktop support to selected
  administrative offices around campus including
  the Presidents and Provosts office.
• Current Initiatives
• Deployment of applications to the desktop via
  Microsofts Systems Management Server (SMS)
• Migration of Novell file sharing system to the
  Active Directory
• Development of a Windows XP to Vista plan
• Remote desktop management
• Upgrade of student PC recommendations
• Assist in the transition of Mailer/Garnet
  accounts to the JES environment
