squirrel monkeys are noisy, entergetic little
monkeys that live in large troops with as many as
300 members.

they send most of their time in trees,scambling
around in the branches searching for
fruit,their favorite food,as well aas
insects, seeds,and and the occasional fruit bat.

young squirrel monkeys are very playful,often
engaging in mock battles with each other.
the young are raised by their mother who is
sometimes their asstied by childless females
know as aunts.

a small,slender monkey with a very long tail.most
common species has a gray coat and yellow
legs.other species yellow-brown to yellow
overall with a black patch on the top of the
head.
