  National Development Strategy.
• The main objective of CSANDS is to represent
  Afghan Civil Society in the making of this
  national strategy for promoting growth,
  generating wealth and reducing poverty and
  vulnerability for the future of Afghanistan.

• CSANDS Video Advocacy Network is a bridge between
  Government Public.
• CSANDS Video Advocacy is a two-way audio visual
  process for communication between communities and
  ANDS/GoA decision-makers.
• Objective -To build civil societys capacity to
  inform ANDS through advocacy efforts.

• A strengthened consultative process that
  integrates village voices into the development
  of the ANDS
• Broadened understanding at Government and donor
  levels of the needs and aspirations of rural
  communities by bringing field realities to
  policy makers.
• Enhanced capacity of policy makers to shape ANDS
  and set priorities to respond to needs and
  aspirations of rural communities

Expected output/outcomes

• Support through video documentation for key data
  research at the village level
• Expanded national dialogue on development
  priorities, the Social Compact, regional needs,
  donor participation and other social and economic
  issues
• Citizens better informed about the priorities of
  fellow citizens, the Government and ANDS and with
  enhanced ownership of ANDS

Outcomes

• Afghan Civil Society informed about ANDS/CSANDS.
• Afghan Civil Society, CSANDS related needs and
  views recorded understood ( PPA).
• A communication bridge that will bring the GoA
  Afghan peoples together to strengthen their
  communications relationship.
• Provide a platform for the peoples to participate
  help in the reconstruction of Afghanistan and
  solve all their problems such as security,
  health, education etc.
• This program could be use as a PRSP experience of
  Afghanistan for other developing countries, IMF,
  World Bank etc.
