What is a biome

• Biomes are the places were plants grow and
  animals live.
• Some are Tundra, Rainforest, Desert, taiga, etc.

Da Arctic Tundra

• The tundra is a cold place for us.
• It can get to -51C -60F!

Rainforest

• The Rainforest can get to 70-85F.

The desert

• Plants that have adapted to the desert has held
  water in for a long time.
• A health concern is loss of body water etc.

Grassland

Deciduous Forest

  around the boarder between the Northeastern
  United states.

Coniferous Forest Taiga

  centimeters of rain per year.
• The climate in the coniferous forest is
  charaterized by strong seasonal variations with
  short moderately warm and moist and long summers.
