organization that partners with groups such as
UNICEF, Red Cross, and UNAIDS to fulfill the
efforts of the ONE Campaign the campaign to make
poverty history. - Heifer International is supported by world
leaders like former President Bill Clinton as
means of ending world disease, poverty, and
hunger, one family at a time.

- Heifer International focuses on the following, in
an effort to make positive difference in the
lives of individuals worldwide - Nutrition Milk, eggs, harvests, etc. provided
healthy lifestyles - Income Provide livestock training in farming
techniques microenterprise

- Community Development Heifer groups with
communities to discuss issues like education,
health nutrition - Passing on the Gift Offspring of animals
techniques for raising livestock are passed on
within Heifer communities

- Environment Heifer educates families about
sustainability of resources - Education Income generated from Heifer livestock
is used to send youth to school to pay for
school supplies - Housing Income from Heifer animals often makes
home improvements construction possible for the
first time

livestock care - Training Heifer livestock training takes up to 1
year Skills are passed between community

- Cans for Cows Collect/return pop cans weekly
Jan. 22nd to Mar. 16th - Coins for Cows Collect change at lunch Feb.
